Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Yaqeen ("we") collects through yaqeenstudy.com and the Yaqeen app, why, and what rights you have over it.

• Account data: email address, name, password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text), and your language preference.
• Study content: whatever you enter into the wizard to generate a report — project name, country/city, industry, business type, currency and investment amount, description, products, target customers, ownership structure, and similar business details.
• Payment data: handled entirely by our third-party payment processor(s). We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and its amount/currency, not your card or bank account details.
• Usage data: a small set of structured events (for example, "study created", "report unlocked") tied to your account, used to run the product and understand usage. We deliberately do not log the free text you write (project descriptions, etc.) in these usage events.
• Cookies: we use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• To create and secure your account, and process your payments;
• To generate your feasibility study: your study content is sent to our AI and research providers (below) to produce the market research, financial model, and written report;
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
• To communicate with you about your account, orders, or changes to our policies;
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We keep your account and study data for as long as your account is active, so you can revisit past reports. You can delete an individual study or your entire account at any time; deleted data is removed from our active systems, though backups may persist for a limited period before being purged.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law). To exercise any of these, email support@yaqeenstudy.com. We'll respond within the time required by applicable law.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls limiting who can view account and study data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Our providers may process data in countries other than the one you're in, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date, and notify you of material changes.
